This document explains which cookies krutaek.com uses, why, how long they last, and how you can manage or withdraw your consent. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers our data handling as a whole.

The Thai version of this policy prevails if there is any discrepancy between language versions.

1. What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device when you visit. Your browser sends it back on every subsequent page, which is how the site recognises you — for example, that you are signed in, or which language you chose.

In this document "cookies" also covers similar browser technologies such as local storage and session storage.

2. Our Principles

  • Strictly necessary cookies are used without asking for consent, because without them the site cannot do what you asked — signing in, and protecting against request forgery.
  • Non-essential cookies require your consent first, and the related scripts are not loaded at all until you accept — not merely hidden behind a dismissed banner.
  • Refusing non-essential cookies does not lock you out. Search, browsing, auctions, preorders and chat all continue to work.
  • We do not install third-party advertising cookies and do not share your browsing data with ad networks.

3. Cookies We Actually Use

3.1 Strictly necessary (active, no consent required)

Name Purpose Lifetime
krutaek_session Maintains your signed-in state and temporary data during your visit, such as multi-step forms in progress Expires after 120 minutes of inactivity
XSRF-TOKEN Protects against cross-site request forgery, so another site cannot act on your behalf Same as the session
krutaek_locale Remembers your chosen language (ไทย / English / 简体中文) 1 year
krutaek_consent Stores a random device reference used to link your consent and withdrawal records when you are not signed in. It contains no name, email or other identifying information. 1 year
remember_web_* Keeps you signed in across browser restarts. Created only if you tick "remember me" at sign-in. 30 days

3.2 Non-essential (consent required)

Type Purpose Current status
Analytics cookies Counting visitors and seeing which pages are used, in order to improve the site Not installed. The system already provides a consent slot for this category. If we begin using it, we will ask for your consent first and add the cookie names and lifetimes to this table.
Marketing cookies Remembering your interests to show more relevant content and offers Not installed. Same conditions as above.

As of the effective date of this version, this site uses only the strictly necessary cookies listed in 3.1.

4. Third-Party Cookies

We do not embed third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Some pages may embed external content such as video clips or maps. When you open such a page, that provider may set its own cookies, governed by that provider's policy rather than ours. We embed such content only where needed and select the most privacy-preserving mode the provider supports.

5. Managing and Withdrawing Consent

5.1 Via the cookie banner

On your first visit you will see a cookie banner that lets you accept or refuse each category separately. Checkboxes for non-essential categories are never pre-ticked.

You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. Withdrawal takes effect from the moment you confirm it and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

Each time you give or withdraw consent, the system records which purpose it concerned, when, through which channel, and which policy version applied, so both sides have an auditable record.

5.2 Via your browser

Every browser lets you view, delete or block cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies.

If you block all necessary cookies you will not be able to sign in, and features requiring authentication — posting listings, bidding, reserving preorder slots, chat — will not work. That is a technical constraint of the browser, not a restriction we impose.

5.3 "Do Not Track" signals

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of non-essential cookies and will not set them.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we begin using a new category of cookie, or change the purpose of one already in use, we will update the tables in section 3 and issue a new version with an effective date. Where the change concerns non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent again before using them.
